The display control and storage system of ship-navigation radar includes two important steps in the process of radar research and development, what is more, the display control terminal is one of the most important parts of radar system. Its responsibilities include:the state control of the X-band ship-navigation radar, the acquisition, storage and real-time display of the target echo signal, the transmission of collected data, etc. With the Nios â…¡ soft-core processor as its core, the main task of the project is to complete the following studies:the first study is to develop the software of the radar display and control terminal, mainly including the system command control and the scanning display of the target echo, etc; the second study is to realize the functions about the soft-core processor, mainly including the Ethernet communication between the terminal and processor and the data exchange between the FPGA and processor; the third study is to deal with the target echo signal and complete the goals about the process and storage of target echo signal.In this paper, several key technologies of ship radar system are studied. Firstly, the modular design of the display and control terminal software of the ship-navigation radar is introduced, including the development of human-machine interface based on Qt, the design of the parameters setting and status display module, the design of target display module, and the realization of the communication module based on Ethernet. Secondly, the Nios â…¡ soft-core processor is introduced in detail. there are several key technologies to be discussed. It includes:the communication based on Ethernet, the data processing method, and the verification of the function through individual experiment. Thirdly, the research of the ship radar system has an indispensable key step. It is the design and implementation of data storage process. The collection format of the data, the acquisition process, and the storage process will be discussed in this paper. Then the simulation of the system is performed. Finally, through the overall tests of the ship radar, the actual function can be verified.The results show that, the system of the display control and storage of ship-navigation radar can work normally in the radar system. The command control of the ship radar system is realized, and the processing, transmission and real-time display of the echo data are realized correctly too. In short, System design is in full compliance with the actual needs, to achieve the desired results and purposes, with a high practical value.
