Standard for Technical Condition Evaluation of Highway Bridges (JTG/T H21-2011) was promulgated in September 2011. It is widely used to detect and assess highway bridges, and plays a crucial role in the maintenance and reinforcement of highway bridges. However, due to the short time of the implementation of standards, its insufficient gradually highlights, such as the lack of appropriate supporting tools, poor operability and large amount of data processing workload. This paper aims to solve problems encountered in standards application, such as, component division, marking sequence, number of important flaws and number of important defective components. Thereafter, corresponding theoretical analysis on the above three aspects is carried out and reasonable solutions are proposed for technical condition assessment of bridges when using Standard for Technical Condition Evaluation of Highway Bridges (JTG/T H21-2011). Lastly, a commercial software, which is convenient for bridge grade division and life prediction, is developed and tested based on Visual Basic computer language and the grey models of GM (1.1), DGM (1.1). Work in this paper not only overcomes the disadvantages of time consuming and error prone by artificial calculation, but also can provide technical support for highway bridge management department. |
