General aviation is getting rapid development with the low-altitude airspace’s opening which below 1000 meters. However, general aviation with visual operation suffered so much collision due to low visibility weather in recent years. More and more people pay attention to the general aviation flight safety. Machine vision technology should be introduced into the general aviation as an auxiliary means to keep the flight safety. In this paper, general aviation anti-collision system scheme based on machine vision has been designed. The main research contents are as follows:Firstly, the overall scheme of the anti-collision system based on machine vision has been designed. The system mainly consists two parts-the visual image acquisition system and computer data processing center. The working process of the system and related technical indicators is designed based on actual demands. Secondly, traditional visual image enhancement algorithm and dark-channel enhancement algorithm are analyzed according to the low visibility weather visual image degradation model. The dark-channel enhancement algorithm based on characteristics of the visual image is improved. At the same time, the visual image enhancement assessment mechanism is also introduced. Then, the high voltage line obstacle detection algorithm based on the analysis of the character of the risk image is designed. The ground and sky background are separated by threshold segmentation and morphological processing. Then, the background noise is filtered based on K-means.And the high tension line obstacles is detect by Hough transform.Finally, this paper develops ground simulation software based on VS2008 and OPENCV. Some experimental analysis has been done such as detection effect and the success rate based on actual pictures.The feasibility of the anti-collision system is verified through the testing of the system. It has great practical value and broad prospects.
