For immersed tube pile in circular cross section unable do well in the potential capacity of the pile itself to the greatest extent. Change the vibration of immersed tube piles to Y cross section to made a Y-section vibro pile. It have advantages of high profiled pile bearing capacity and construction speed. All kinds of research of Y-section vibro pile is still in the stage of development. The superiority of the vertical bearing capacity in construction site is obvious, but the interaction mechanism of the soil and underground need to be researched.In this paper, the transparent soil applied to comparison of Y-section pile and circular pile model test, study on the vertical bearing of Y-section pile:First, transparent soil indoor model experiment of Y-section pile was carried out. Through single pile and pile group circular pile and the comparison of Y-section pile model test and by PIV software test images to get the displacement field of transparen soil, intuitively show its superiority compared with circular pile. Finally, combined with model test and the calculation theory, have a theoretical research on the bearing capacity. In this paper, the main work done is as follows:1. Based on the independent development and design patents, and has authorized the transparency of self-designed soil model test system used in the materials and equipment optimization and improvement.Then give a detail introduction and display of various parameters of materials, equipment, model pile. And give matters need attention of configuration of the transparent soil matters.2. Using the self-designed test system and test scheme, under the condition of single pile, the circular pile and Y-section pile had contrast test in transparent soil of underdraught test and vertical load test. Through the Geo-PIV program bring test images to analysis and process, study of circular pile and Y-section pile-soil interaction, prove that under the same section of Y-section pile than circular pile. Its bearing capacity has remarkable superiority.3. Consider the Y-section pile abnormity effect, based on the uneven distribution of Y-section pile side resistance model and general circular pile ultimate bearing capacity calculation theory,and according to the common failure mode analysis of circular pile, we find the equivalent circular pile of Y-section pile, and take it into Berezantze calculation formulas after improvement. And compared with previous experimental results, through specific engineering example, demonstrate the superiority of Y-section pile bearing capacity once again.4. Under the condition of group pile, the circular pile and Y-section pile had contrast test in transparent soil of underdraught test and vertical load test. Similar, through processing software analyze the test images, and get some displacement field images. Analysis the differences of two kinds of pile type in pile group, through the comparison, still can get that Y-section pile bearing capacity is superior to circular pile. In practical projects, the settlement will be smaller of Y-section pile under the same load with circular pile.
