Abstract/Summary:
Under the continuous efforts made by the research, design, manufacturing and operation departments, practical techniques of smart substation have been greatly developed since the first smart substation in China was put into operation on September 2010. At present, the construction and promotion of the smart substation in China has entered into a peak period.The information transmission digitization and networking is one of the most significant differences between smart substation and traditional substation. The digital and network information transmission enable the related personnel to get more information about the operating status of the power grid and secondary equipments in the substation to provide basic condition for the implementation of smart substation. However, because of the cognitive difficulties brought by the information transmission and expression digitization, the development of the practical technology and application achievements on the debugging and identification, operation and maintenance of smart substation is still restricted at present. In 2013, Sichuan Electric Power Test & Research Institute and University of Electronic Science and Technology of China(UESTC) jointly put forward a project idea of Smart Substation Accessorial System. The project is figured to research and develop a set of the accessorial system of the smart substation based on the description file SSD, SCD and real-time network message of the smart substation. This system consists of software platform and hardware device which is able to provide the full technology supports for the identification, operation, maintenance and overhaul working of the smart substation. This paper mainly describes the hardware platform of this accessorial system, that is, the design and implementation of the online information analysis equipments of the smart substation.This thesis researches, and designs a set of the online information analysis device which is able to put into use at the smart substation site in combination with IEC 61850 standard and smart substation network communication technology. The device consists of the public system service platform and network message processing platform. The network message processing platform is a high-speed digital logic system based on FPGA while the public system service platform is constructed by using an industrial computer.This thesis organizes the dissertation working according to the system design and function design in the part of the network message processing platform design description. In the system design, this paper focuses on introducing the network message processing platform system architecture, circuit configuration, core controller and power supply network design. In the part of function design, this paper divides the system into data receiving module, data-caching module, data transmission link and respectively introduces the principle of each function module and design of the electric circuits and controllers’ function.The function test of the online information analysis device researched and developed in this paper has been completed at the stage of the joint debugging at Xuji Electric Group, the established function test object has been completed.This paper summarizes the works specified in the task in the last and makes the expectation on the sequential studies in the task.
