Water is the most precious renewable energy to us.With the rapid development of our country’s economy, the demand for electricity is becoming more and morebig.After the founding of our country, hydropower enterprise also is developing rapidly, China’s hydropower generating capacity by 2005, on average, about seven years is doubled, the number and size of hydropower station is becoming more and more big.In the process of the construction of hydropower station, the research on the hydraulic characteristics of the drainage buildings mainly rely on the hydraulic model test and numerical simulation of two kinds of methods.Hydraulic model test method for the process and the actual water flow is more closereliable to the measured data; Numerical simulation method is fast, strong adaptability, less cost, and to facilitate the comparison of design scheme. Therefore, the combination of hydraulic model test and numerical simulation is become an important method to discharge problems in the research of water conservancy projects. Taking shehe water power station project as the research object, using CATIA software to establish the three-dimensional model of numerical simulation of regional figure; ANSYS ICEM the unstructured grid is used for meshing; Implicit algorithm, are used in the FLUENT software to the standard k- epsilon turbulence model, the VOF method is adopted to track free surface, the numerical simulation analysis was carried out on the shipping dam section. Main conclusions are as follows:(1)Through the shipping dam section of the three-dimensional numerical simulation to get the working condition of the checking, once in 20 years working condition, and frequent flood discharge capacity under three working conditions, the flow within the building structure of phenomenon and the flow of water, and shuhe water power station of the hydraulic model test of the measured data is analyzed, the results show that numerical simulation data and the measurements of the hydraulic model test is consistent. Numerical simulation shows that the calculation results are to be believed, can provide some helpful Suggestions for practical engineering construction.(2)calculated by the numerical simulation of shipping downstream of the dam section bent in checking condition, 20 years in a working condition and flood conditions often ship lift of the bent all around on the dynamic water pressure and distribution.
