| HXD3-type electric locomotive was trunk cargo overloading and fast transport electric locomotive in the sixth railway speed-up of China in 2007. Battery charging device is key component of HXD3 locomotive for reliable operation. Reliability assessment methods could help to guide the design, maintenance and corrective of the equipment for battery charging device of HXD3 locomotive. It has significant applied value.The paper briefly describes the structure and working principle of HXD3 locomotive battery charging device and research status of dynamic fault tree theory at home and abroad. According to the working principle of HXD3 locomotive battery charging device, the dynamic fault tree analysis model was established. In accordance with the module thinking, the model was simplified. The static and dynamic gates were replaced by the algebraic description of static and dynamic gate, until the basic events. The dynamic fault tree structure functions of HXD3 locomotive battery charging device were built. Then step by step incrementally, the minimal cut sequence set of leading to failure of the battery charging device was figured out in accordance with temporal rules. After qualitative analysis and quantitative analysis for the minimal cut sequence set, the contribution degree of failure probability of each module’s for the battery charging device would be calculated.According to the result of the qualitative analysis and quantitative analysis for the dynamic fault tree model of HXD3 locomotive battery charging device, and combined with practical problems in locomotive operation and maintenance, these improvement schemes with high current were quantitatively analysed based on dynamic fault tree. The paper gives some optimization schemes and provides a theoretical basis for system design and scientific maintenance. |
