Cutting excavation and rainfall are large factors in expressway construction on the slope, and its mechanism is very complex, often with a variety of factors:regional engineering geological conditions, construction process and other related factors. In this paper, the deformation and instability about ShilongBa landslide in LiJiang-PanZhiHua Expressway as the study object. Firstly, using the software Plaxis to simulate the occurred process of Cutting Excavation on the landslide, Geo-studio software to simulate the response of slope deformation under rainfall. Evaluating the effect of anti-slide pile after treatment and deformation analysis of possible causes tilt top of the pile by mechanics calculation and numerical simulation.In the case of existing engineering geological datas summarized deformation features landslide, rock and soil characteristics, instability analysis, and calculating the stability coefficient of landslide in different conditions.Simulating cutting excavation process with plaxis software for analysis of horizontal displacement, vertical displacement, maximum shear strain, of each slope excavation process, It summarizes the change of these parameters and the stability of the whole process, Analysts believe that the main cause of landslides is excavation.Accessing parameter data from similar project, based on the saturated unsaturated seepage theory. using the Geo-studio software to simulate the steady-state characteristics of the slope and the transient response duration 24h rainfall intensity 80mm/d, gotting the distribution and trends of the pore water pressure and volumetric water content, then analyzing the rainfall on slope displacement, strain and stabilizing influence. Analysts believe the rainfall caused local deformation of the slope, but has little influence on the stability.Evaluating the effect of treatment of the existing anti-slide pile design by mechanical calculations and numerical simulation. The phenomenon of pile top displacement is analyzed from the angle of the pile spacing, the anchorage depth and the front soil excavation. Believe that the top of the pile with a large deformation due to the pile spacing design and soil excavation before pile.
