In this article, we did research on the effect of lateral loads on the pile foundation in the accumulation slope of rock and soil to observe the stress and deformation of the piles. Based on the typical slope of Jiuzhaigou, we studied on the numerical simulation and laboratory tests on of the pier foundation of the Jiuzhaigou slope, at the same time,the influence of the lateral load on the single pile and pile groups is analyzed, and some important conclusions are obtained.(1)By FLAC3D,we try to build a numerically applicable model to annlyze different working status. Regardless of the retaining structure the slope, both the anti sliding pile and bridge foundation will discover the peak point of shear force and bending moment near the sliding surface and distribution forms are roughly the same.Due to the presence of cap, bridge pile bending moment of the pile will be positive and negative,to anti sliding pile there is only positive moment,the cap piles will increase the horizontal resistance.(2) We carried out a similar ratio design to the laboratory test through similarity principle. In the experiment, a series of test data are tested to srudy on the distribution of landslide force, soil resistance and pile bending moment. To the accumulation slope, the landslide force and in front of the pile and soil resistance distribution of the pile above the sliding surface is a parabola, soil resistance distribution below the slip surface in front of the pile is generally in the form of inverted triangular distribution.Concentrating on the bending moment of pile body surface, the bending moment will appear the peak. With the increase of load, the plastic hinge damage of pile body will appear,and that is the same as the analytical and numerical results.(3) Based on the analysis of the experimental data, the empirical formula of single pile P-Y curve under horizontal load is established. Then to analyze the pile groups from mechanical characteristics and failure mechanism,we study on the analysis the pile distance and number of piles, pile penetration depth and pile top constraints of group piles to p-y curve.By comparison of single pile single pile of p-y curves and group piles p-y curve, we obtain the pile after pile of soil anti force reduction coefficient and the experience formula.
