| This paper mainly introduced a new type of flying device- a wearable flapping-wing device, and designed a new transmission mechanism and analyzed it from some aspects for the device. In simply terms, This paper designed a new transmission mechanism applied for the device we need, after the contrastive analysis to research actuality of Jetpack, Flapping-wing vehicle and so on, and did some analysis and research in theory and simulation, like kinematics, dynamic and finite element analysis. The details were showed in following:Firstly, This paper proposed the concept of a wearable flapping-wing device and analyzed the related research. Wearable flapping-wing device is a new flight vehicle, which possess some features like “Independent dynamics†and “Generalized wearableâ€, and we get some inspiration for our design from comparing some developed Jetpacks like jet-propelled and propeller types; Due to the limit research in the device we research, we did some analysis on research actuality of manned flapping-wing aircraft, Bird-like flapping-wing vehicle and some relevant research, which owned the same flight models with our device, for getting more research basis we need. After the analysis of above research status, this paper mainly designed and analyzed the transmission mechanism for our device. We designed a new preliminary transmission mechanism for our device, by comparing the research actuality of complete transmission mechanism other scholars did, and got a group dimension data for the linkages by preliminary analysis in theory and simulation; Based on the above design and analysis, this paper made the 3-D models and analysis to our device we need for the further enrich it, and we used software ADAMS to do some dynamic analysis, like comparing the force bearing status when it running, and getting the place where some key links got maximum force, by flexing it in the module of ADAMS. Finally, we did analysis of pressure and material strength verification to our device, and used Workbench to do FEA of our main structural and linkage DF for getting more data to optimize our device. This paper completed the design and preliminary analysis to the transmission mechanism of a wearable flapping-wing device, and provided some research basis and analysis data for further research. |
