The intercity railway network planning of urban agglomeration is a multi-factor, multi-level, multi-target complex system. To be able to provide reliable decision basis, need to use a scientific and rational approach to network planning evaluation. Therefore, in order to improve the evaluation of railway network planning theory, strengthen the railway network planning decision more scientific, guiding the development of the urban agglomeration spatial structure, it is necessary to do some in-depth study of urban agglomeration intercity railway network planning evaluation.Based on the relevant theories of urban agglomeration and intercity railway, this thesis focuses on the interactions of intercity railway and urban agglomeration development model, the coordinated development mechanism between intercity railway and urban agglomeration economy, the dynamic evolutionary relationships between intercity railway and urban agglomeration spatial structure to analyze the relationship between the two, determining the theoretical basis of the thesis.Based on the degree of development of urban agglomeration and the characteristics of the intercity railway, this thesis constructs index system suitable for the present stage of urban agglomeration intercity railway network planning evaluation. From the perspective of railway enterprise, this thesis selects indexes which reflect the intercity rail network structure; from the perspective of the demand side, this thesis selects indexes reflect the service level of the intercity railway network; from the perspective of government departments, this thesis selects the intercity railway network and urban agglomeration spatial structure adaptability evaluation indexes; from the perspective of builders, this thesis selects indexes reflect the implementation of the project construction.For urban agglomeration intercity railway network planning is the essence of the gray multi-objective decision making problems, this thesis uses fuzzy analytic hierarchy process, entropy method, the ideal solution, gray system theory and vector projection principle, and constructs with FAHP-EW method to determine index weight, grey relation projection model based on TOPSIS.Finally, the Pearl River Delta urban agglomeration intercity railway network planning evaluation is analyzed as an example, and the results show that the evaluation index system and evaluation method proposed in this thesis for the evaluation of urban agglomeration intercity railway network planning has strong feasibility and operability.
