With the rapidly development of the high-speed railways, more kinds of railway mobile communication services are required, especially the broadband data traffic, such as onboard video transmission and video on demand of passengers. GSM-R system needs to evolve to the next generation of broadband mobile communication system, LTE-R system. As the railway mobile communication system, LTE-R must bear train-ground two-way safety data transmission in CTCS-3 (Chinese Train Control System level 3)system, and guarantee the reliable transmission of all kinds of train operation related safety data. The effectiveness, reliability and QoS of train control services beared by LTE-R are the key issues for the safety of train operation.Therefore, to guarantee the safety requirements of train control system, the exhaustive indicator set of QoS performance, indicators value, testing methods and evaluation methods play the key roles in studies of LTE-R system. This thesis is supported by the research funding of "LTE-R high-speed railway network QoS evaluation system research" special projects of the Beijing Scientific Association. In this work, the QoS indicators and their testing methods of train control service in LTE-R system are proposed, which are validated based on the high-speed railway mobile communication semi-physical simulation platform.In this thesis, the main work is as follows:1. Based on the analysis of seven QoS indicators of train control service in GSM-R, the train control service QoS indicators and their establishment, quantitative numerical and testing methods are proposed in LTE-R.2. The influence of train control services QoS of LTE-R nerwork on MA, level conversion, the loss of communication and other operating scenarios are analyzed. Reasonable setting of QoS evaluation index is very important for the safety and reliability of train operation.3. Based on the high-speed railway mobile communication semi-physical simulation platform, test and verify the proposed indicators and the coresponding test methods. Through the analysis of test results, verify the rationality of the proposed indicators and test methods.
