At present, the permeability test of concrete in domestic method mainly includes infiltrate method and chloride ion penetration method. Infiltrate method can simulate water infiltration of form in the real environment, but the process is relatively complicated, time-consuming and laborious. The chloride ion penetration method can simulate the penetration form of ions in the solution. Because the process is relatively simple and the time is short, many domestic scholars are keen on experimental study of the law. Although the domestic scholars has a lot of experimental research on the permeability test method, there’s no good test can replace the current standard method. So the domestic existing standards are still infiltrate method. In addition, domestic also lack of onsite testing technology and related standards on permeability in concrete. Torrent ventilation method is used to test permeability of concrete component surface. It has its own inspection standard adn has been put into commercial application. This method can be used for field testing, easy to carry, simple to operate, shortly measuring time to need, good repeatability and accuracy to test compared with national standard method. The article main research content is as follows:(1) Study and analysze the mechanism of the Torrent permeameter, and use Torrent permeability tester to measure concrete specimens many times and get the change of time curve to verify the repeatability and accuracy;(2) The concrete strength is C30 and its permeability design level is P6 and P8. Then conduct torrent permeability breathable method without damage test to concrete blocks respectively, Analyze the change fo block influence depth and permeability coefficient and make a linear fitting on the corresponding experimental data. Finally get the corresponding mathematical expressions, statistically analyze test data and obtain the distribution interval of depth of penetration influence about block C30P6 and C30P8.(3) Conduct the block water penetration height test on the same block. And through the observation summarize the basic types of water mark, analyze the test data by the mathematical statistical method, and obtain the distribution interval of penetration depth of the block about block C30P6 and C30P8;(4) Compare the test results obtained from two methods, get the water penetration depth and Torrent breathable influence depth or the relationship between the maximum differential pressure curve, and receive the water permeability coefficient and torrents breathable curve of the relationship between the coefficient of permeability. Then set up mathematic model of the corresponding relationship.The innovation point of the paper includes using two kinds of detection methods at home and abroad to test concrete impermeability and make contrast test research, namely the concrete surface layer permeability at abroad and the standard water penetration height method in domestic, which can provide the reference and basis to get more accurate and fast method to test concrete permeability in field test.
