Since the beginning of the new century, Chinese people in real life has been inseparable from the electric vehicle and the electric vehicle has developed same rapidly with the rapid development of new energy. The main direction of the study of electric vehicle is small, convenient, energy saving and environmental protection. In this context, self-balanced electric vehicle emerges as the times require, and the design and research have become a hotspot in the field of electric vehicles. After the control system of technical field probes, it covers a wide range of application of technologies, including technology of control science and engineering, mechanical design, electrical engineering, sensor technology, microelectronics technology and many other technical fields, the system belongs to the more complex control system.The research and design of this paper mainly focuses on the self-balanced two wheeled and single wheel electric vehicles. It will use advanced control technology and more mature control chip to design the system. This paper firstly introduces the control system of self-balanced electric, and makes analysis on mathematical modeling of self-balanced control system, and the system makes a detailed description and analysis about the principle and implementation of Kalman filter. On the design of control algorithm, the fusion of fuzzy control and PID control in this paper is mainly based on their characteristics in the proposed application. According to fuzzy rules and the current state of the system, the PID parameters are predicted and adjusted in the running process of the system to adjust the system to best state. In the hardware design and software design of control system, this paper mainly introduces from the control and drive system of brushless DC motor, the sensor module circuit of MPU6050, power supply system and control circuit of the main controller, they are four parts to introduce the design in detail, it makes the control system design and implementation of self-balanced electric vehicle more clear and the main program and interrupt control program are supplemented with design of software.This paper develops the design of the main control circuit about TMS320F2812 DSP and it is the core. The paper is supplemented by other power supply, sensor and motor drive type as main circuit design. They are combined into the new algorithm in the traditional control algorithm of fuzzy control and PID control, and Kalman filter algorithm will make the control system of self-balanced electric vehicle more perfect, more stable, and run more smoothly. To meet the needs of existing markets and the public, and reach mature and highly stable system, it will need the high requirements and perfect degree. At the same time, it makes people travel more convenient, and strives for better application value and promotion prospects in the electric vehicle market...
