Nowadays, green, environmental protection, clean and renewable energy is the focus of the global people’s attention. Because of its unique green, environmental protection, clean, renewable and other advantages into the people’s vision. Today, countries around the world are trying to develop solar energy resources, the use of this kind of green, environmental protection, clean and renewable energy to develop the economy, the benefit of the world. Green, environmental protection, clean and renewable energy will slowly replace the traditional energy, which is the world’s trend of things. We all know that the traditional energy and environmental pollution need to be solved urgently. Energy and environmental issues have become the major issues that all countries face in twenty-first Century. The convening of the global climate conference, energy-saving emission reduction, environmental protection industry, low carbon economy, recycling economy is the world’s high attention.As we all know, in the remote areas of the plateau, mountains and other places, as a result of a wide range of people, but in the need to use the power of the local. If the direct use of grid to them for transmission, but the cost is too high, low safety, maintenance problems and other factors (due to the local demand for electricity is too little), which requires a simple, use convenient transmission form. And independent photovoltaic power generation to meet these requirements, whether it is a street in remote areas of electricity, or signal transmitting tower of power, it can meet these, so as to solve the power supply, can save more human and material resources, but also to reduce pollution, protect the environment. Therefore, the research on the output efficiency of the independent photovoltaic power supply system carries on the power supply to the load (or battery) as an important research project in the world. This paper mainly based on the research object is a small device for small power load of transmission, but also to the battery charging, when rainy days or a lack of sun case, by the battery supplement to the load power supply to meet the load demand. So the maximum power between the solar cell and the load (battery) is the most important power tracking device.In the theoretical analysis of the solar photovoltaic battery output power based on, at the same time, the traditional improved MPPT based. Analysis factors affecting the output, in the MATLAB/Simulink model building control circuit experiment, the control software is programmed, and puts forward the a new type of control strategy, open circuit voltage, and the automatic variable step incremental conductance method, open circuit voltage method to track the speed of the maximum power point relatively fast, automatic variable step size high tracking precision, so as to meet the fast and accurate research on small solar energy power supply device. Through the simulation results of Matlab/Simulink, the rationality of the combination of open circuit voltage and automatic variable step incremental conductance method is verified.
