The air temperature and soil moisture all the year changes significantly in Xinjiang yili region. so that the wire and the impedance value of the earth are affected by it. The capacitive current through the conductor and earth form a loop, then the temperature and humidity changes can lead to power system parameter changes. When the line length is much smaller than the wavelength of the alternating current(ac), generally only using the lumped parameter model on line without considering the impedance characteristics of the earth, this model can’t study the influence of the impedance of the earth on the system. This paper based on the J.R.C arson "wires- the earth" circuit theory, considering the impedance characteristics of the earth and the distributed parameter circuit model of power system is established, the temperature, humidity and conductor, the relationship between the impedance value of the earth is determined. According to the circuit model, mathematical model is derived using the theory of circuit equations in matrix, and the fault capacitive current under different temperature and humidity conditions are analyzed by using the MATLAB software calculation. It is shown that the temperature and humidity is lower, the capacitive current is greater. Finally, the single side, double side power systems under different temperature and humidity conditions for opening and closing operation simulation are performed by using ATP software.
