In all kinds of mechanical accident, because the gear fault leads to the probability of the accident close to six Therefore, the gear fault identification significance to detection of the extraordinary stateThis paper based on the above and combined with practice work units need to carry out the research on condition monitoring and fault diagnosis of gear running, intends to design a set of gear vibration signal acquisition, analysis and fault diagnosis system. This chapter focuses on the work carried out in the following sections:First analyzes the vibration mechanism of gear and gear fault forms, and introduces a method of analysis of common mechanical vibration signal, the simulation experiment of gear tooth top, normal wear and broken tooth fault through rotor test-bed.Secondly, determine the overall design scheme of the system, introduces the PXI-4462 acquisition system hardware selection of sensor INV9822 and Ni company card. Then the function of each module of the software system are introduced and determine t he realization of the idea, the software consists of several parts: data acquisition and storage, the time domain and the frequency domain analysis, signal feature extraction and fault identification, which feature extraction and fault identification function by Lab VIEW and MATLAB programming method to complete.Again to according to the fault signal with non smooth characteristics, will be able to reflect signal complex degree of sample entropy is introduced and combined with the wavelet packet algorithm of fault signal feature value extraction, using the wavelet packet decomposition to decompose the signal into different frequency bands, then calculate the sample entropy of each part and use it as a characteristic parameter, of feature vectors using SVM classifier that the method has good effect to distinguish.Finally, the specific design of the software system is completed under the Lab VIEW development platform, and the function of each module is realized. The whole system is used to collect, store, analyze and identify the vibration signal which is generated by the fault simulation test bench. The system achieves the design requirements, and verifies the effectiveness of the system.The results of this study show that the use of modular design using the gear fault diagnosis system of LabVIEW development, the development cycle is short, easy to expand the function of man-machine interface, simple and clear, as a result, to realize the analysis and fault diagnosis of gear vibration signal, and has practical value.
