Failure of equipment in coal preparation plant, the rolling bearing fault is a typical fault type, so it is significant to study the fault diagnosis of rolling bearing to ensure long-term safe operation of equipment in coal preparation plant. In bearing fault diagnosis, a single parameter has the different sensitivity to various forms of bearing fault, judge fault bearing accuracy is low, and the traditional multi parameter fault diagnosis need professional personnel to analyze, so it is urgent to develop simple operation of the multi parameter rolling bearing fault diagnosis system. In this paper, we choose the coal preparation plant equipment fault diagnosis as the background and rolling bearing fault diagnosis as the research object, using VB as the development language, SQL Server 2000 as a database, combined with signal in time-domain and frequency-domain analysis method and multi parameter calculation, developed the rolling bearing multi parameter fault diagnosis system. And with the inner ring, outer ring, three types of rolling bearing fault data on the system analysis of the results were verified.This paper firstly studies the rolling bearing fault mechanism and fault analysis method. In the study of rolling bearing failure mechanism, the calculating formulas of four kinds of fault frequencies are given. Through the research on vibration fault time-frequency domain analysis method, mean, peak, RMS, intensity, kurtosis, waveform factor six time-domain parameters is selected as the system of bearing fault consideration parameters, and gives the formulae for calculating the parameters.Followed by the study of LMD method we found that the endpoint effects and modal aliasing defects are existed in it, so we choose the adaptive waveform matching extension and adaptive high frequency harmonics to improve it, and then use the improved LMD and SVD differential spectral combination method of external ring fault signal processing, results show that the improved method is more effective, so we choose it as the system of fault signal feature extraction method.Then through communicate with coal preparation plant’s relevant personnel analysis the system needs. In accordance with the actual needs the database to build a database and develop the host computer system. Combined with the actual situation of the coal preparation plant, the vibration and temperature are selected as the two types of basic data for the fault diagnosis of bearing. For the data transmission and storage of the upper and lower computer, a classified storage mode is studied. The method of VB calling MATLAB is studied, and the acceleration value is calculated by integrating the intensity, and the frequency domain curve is drawn. Study the VB and word document interaction method, the parameters and curves generated word document and display in the VB interface display.Finally, the rolling bearing fault diagnosis system is used to analyze the fault data of three types of the inner ring, outer ring and rolling element. The results show that the system can effectively judge the fault of rolling bearing.
