The muzzle speed of the projectile is one of the important indicators that measures firearms’ power performance and one of the important parameters in guns’ design,So the measurement of the muzzle speed about projectile is indispensable to testing various parameters of the projectile in the internal trajectory.In normal conditions, the muzzle speed of the projectile is measured in the outdoor experiments,this will generates some malpratices such as high cost, technically difficult, time-consuming, much manpower cost and the test result may not be ideal.For these problems, The emphasis of this paper was laid on the design of the software platform about doppler signal simluation in the nternal trajectory to achieve the realistic simulation of the actual doppler signal.On the basic of analyzing the simulation techniques about the doppler, The relative technical index and the whole design project of the software platform about doppler simulation was proposed based on the PXI bus, and details the design scheme and the implement method of the signals generated and high-speed data acquisition software subsystem.Coming up with the subsystem’s design about the simulation of doppler based on DDS with analyzing the theories and establishing mathematical model about doppler echo signal in interior ballistic.constructing a substantial platform using PXIe5442 board structures.compiling the hardware driver interface function in accordance with IVIFGEN instrument architecture.the simulation and outputing of the linear frequency modulation signal,doppler signal and nosie signal are realized using the technologies of DDS.Proposing the subsystem’s design about the acquisition of the fast-moving target through analying the field environment and achieving the functional about the real-time data acquisition system, the waveform-display and the time-domain calculation by constructing hardware environment about the data acquisition systemand compiling the driven liabraries and designing the sybsystem software.Experimental results show that the design of interior ballistic doppler signal simulation software platform to realize the simulation of doppler signal and output, and has a high speed, dual channel, a large amount of data real-time acquisition function.
