Compared with the girder of concrete or steel bridge, steel-concrete composite girder cable-stayed bridge is a relatively new type of bridge. It is exceedingly meaningful to carry out seismic response analysis and vibration mitigation control for this kind of cable-stayed bridge. In this dissertation, the response analysis spectrum and dynamic time history analysis are carried out on the background project of Qingshan Bridge (a long-span steel-concrete composite beam cable-stayed bridge with 430m main span), and the vibration mitigation control is also studied. The main research works are as follows:(1) The research at present about seismic response analysis of cable-stayed bridge with steel-concrete composite girder has been summarized, and the main contents of this dissertation was established.(2) The basic theory of common static method, response spectrum method and time history analysis method in seismic response analysis were described, and their advantages and disadvantages were also discussed.(3) A series of three-dimensional finite element model were established by FEM(Finite Element Method). The influence of pile-soil interaction on dynamic characteristics of the bridge was studied by comparing the models with and without pile-soil interaction.(4) The dynamic response of the steel-concrete composite beam cable-stayed bridge under earthquake has been studied by the response spectrum method and dynamic time history method, respectively. Furthermore, the results of these two different methods have been compared and analyzed.(5) The effect of traveling wave on the seismic response of that type cable-stayed bridge was studied, and the influence of seismic response due to different form of main girder was also discussed.(6) The application of viscous dampers in the vibration reduction measures of long-span steel-concrete composite beam cable stayed bridge was studied, and the sensitivity analysis of the damper parameters was also carried out.
