Transformer is the key of electrical transmission, and also the most important part of electrical net. Mastering its condition of insulation accurately can avoids problems, like electrical transmission breaking down, even serious accidents such as large area power cut. There are many ways to diagnose the insulate condition of power transformers, but each of them has its drawbacks. Return voltage method (RVM) containing a large number of infor-mation is not sensitive to disturbs, and non-destructive as well, so it can be well used for transformers’condition diagnosis.Recovery voltage Measurement (RVM) is a kind of important detection method which can detect the insulation condition of the transformer without destroying the insulation con-dition of the transformer. The method does not need oil sampling, it can get the return volt-age data using the insulation polarization properties of the material, and make a diagnosis to insulation condition of Oil-paper transformer. Completed sets of RVM testing equipment can be used in field test.This paper have a study on the Recovery voltage Diagnosis of oil-paper insulation sys-tem aging state research at home and abroad. By Simulating the extended Debye model of Oil-paper insulation system, the paper analysis and calibrates the effect of voltage testing device, learning the influences of charging voltage, charging time and discharging time. It provides a basis for field test of RVM.On top of simulation research, the design of the transformer insulation state detection device based on Recovery voltage method is realized, which mainly includes the low leak-age current voltage test module, the relay control module and the voltage acquisition mod-ule. At the last of the paper, gives the research of recovery voltage of transformer and the different temperatures of Oil-paper insulation samples, which provides a reference for ac-curately assessing the state of transformer and calculating the remaining life of transformer insulation. |
