In recent years, the solar industries have large-scale development trend all over the world, along with the capacities of photovoltaic power stations has beening more expansived, the fluctuation and unpredictability of the output of photovoltaic power station seriously affected the stability and safety of Power Grid.In order to ensure the output of active power of photovoltaic power station satisfies the requirements of the Grid Scheduling Output(GSO), and ensure the voltage of the photovoltaic power station keeping stability, according to the requirement of the engineering project, the active power control system of photovoltaic power station shall be researched and designed in the thesis:1. It will introduce the constitution of active power control system of photovoltaic power station which consists of the monitoring system and power control system. The monitoring system is mainly used for the data collection of the whole power station, the data are the input of the active power control system, and then will introduce the active power control system including the control principle, control structure and control requirements, etc..2. It will introduce the main control strategy of active power control system, such as restricting mode control, adjustment mode control, slope control and their combination control strategies, then it will introduce the power distribution strategies, and the control method of ?rotated sleep control? will be supposed as well as the seasonally adjusted control and temperature control which based on the inverter control strategy avoiding frequent start-stop of the inverter.3. It will introduce the design of the active power control system. firstly, the whole software structure and control process will be designed, then the main modules of the software will be designed, such as power control module, power distribution module, process module, the register system, and communication data format, etc., after that the software programme will be finished by using C# language programming, and finally, the software interface will be designed by using Silverlight Platform.4. It will introduce the basic function of the software system, and then, the main function of software shall be tested, and will analyse the test results under the condition of practical engineering project.At present, this active power control system have mostly finished and beening used successfully in one of our photovoltaic power station, which shall be a mature experience for the Solar project in the future.
