In the past two decades, suspendome structures in China have been developing vigorously, they have been used in dozens of important projects. As a new kind of structure that combines the advantages of single-layer spherical latticed shell and cable-dome structure, the upper shell and the lower cable is connected by the vertical strut. The loads act on the upper latticed shell are transmitted to the lower cables by the struts. The ring beams which are used to constrain these cables help to transfer the load to the supports below, ensuring that the entire system has reasonable force-transmission.The development of suspendome structures is inseparable from these people who devote themselves to researches, this paper identified two main research directions based on scientific research achievements at home and abroad, the first is static analysis; the second is the study of wind-induced dynamic response.First, use the finite element software Adina to simulate static behavior of 30m, 45m,60m suspendome structures by changing parameters. By adjustting the magnitude of span, the height of struct, the size of prestress, the layout of cables and span ratio, study the maximum reaction force, the maximum vertical deformation, various types of rod axial force of the upper part, the force of vertical struts and the tensile force of the lower cables. The influences of these parameters on the force and deformation have been concluded, than find the most reasonable parameters.Study results show that there are some correlations between different parameters, for example, span ratio are better to improve the behaviors of smaller span structure; when prestress is too small, it can’t reduce axial force by increasing the ratio of span. Therefore, it’s necessary to consider the influence of various parameters, avoiding using a single parameter as the control factor in tha design of the suspendome structure. Then, this paper introduces characteristics of the wind load in ground proximity and methods of the wind engineering research briefly, elaborats on theoretical basis of fluid-structure coupling study, presents the dynamics equations of structure and fluid, boundary conditions of fluid-structure coupling and two kinds of coupled solving algorithms. Finally, use the FSI (fluid-solid interaction) module of Adina to simulate the interaction of structure and fluid. The span of these structures with span ratio of 1/4, 1/5,1/6 is 30m. After computing the wind-induced dynamic coefficient and wind pressure distributed coefficient, suggest that the value of the wind-induced dynamic coefficient is 1.3. Due to the different distribution of pressure throughout the roof area are quite different, it is recommended to consider pressure related to the regions of the roof in the actual engineering design which can guarantee the building’s safety and economy.
