In recent years, wind power is developing in large scale, so more and more wind power is accepted to power grid. But the rapid development of wind power is restricted because of the intermittent and randomness of wind power. The rapid development of wind power prediction technology has become one of the key technologies to improve power grid load capacity, to guarantee the safety and stable operation of power system better. This thesis realizes the design of a company’s wind power prediction system from the angle of the wind power prediction and the main subject has the following several parts:First, this thesis studies the research background, significance and status of Chinese wind power prediction system; second, theoretical research to predict the wind power is studied to establish the model which can forecast wind power more precious. Ultra short-term power prediction is based on continuous prediction method, and the WRF model is used to forecast wind speed on a wind farm, and the power curve gives wind power which is established by the method of maximum.Taking the actual situation of a company as an example, the design of the wind power prediction system is carried out. The function of this system is divided into two modules. One part is data processing system and the other is data display system. Among them, the data processing system focuses on the business process and this module uses the C++language to write, and bases on the Qt frame. Data display system focuses on the interaction between the system and user, it is responsible for the user to show that the prediction data and to make the operation of real-time response to users’need, the module is written in Java programming language, based on J2EE platform and by Struts and Hibernate framework. Finally, each module of the system is tested. The last result proves that the system can meet the basic needs of the wind farm, and it can operate well.
