Rock anchor foundation as a direct anchoring foundation on the rock, usually bear large pulling force and horizontal force. In some underdeveloped transportation areas utilizing this type of foundation not only can decrease the project cost, but also can reduce the damage to the original landscape, which is conducive to the protection of the ecological environment. Based on the above virtues, the rock anchor foundation has been widely applied in all kinds of engineering.In this paper, based on an industrial factory building, the project is located in Dalian Jinzhou development zone, which is adjacent to the sea. The workshop column foundation built in the middle layer of rock weathering slate, layered shale, rock mass is dense. The basic level of rock is relatively smooth and exists a slight slope, the bearing capacity of the rock is high. In order to make full use of the high rock bearing capacity characteristics, the project chooses rock bolt foundation at last. In the calculation,principle and method of calculation for anchor bolt in the steel column base of the reference in the process. In the foundation of the edge of the anchor, which saves more than 30% of the investment, moreover, this kind of foundation provides enough space for internal equipment to set out.By monitoring single uplift anchor static residual on site, it is able to inspect sheet root of bolt axial pull-out bearing performance whether can achieve 160 KN design requirements. Based on the F column and G column, the column base was taken as an example, test sample by 5% of the total number of anchor bolts. The deformation value of the 26 anchor bolts in a total of is small under the forces resistance of 320 KN, without obvious damage occurs.With the consideration of initial stress and interaction between the interface, using ANSYS software to simulate the rock anchor foundation, through the finite element simulation analysis of the deformation and stress state of bolt, it can acquire the process of failure pattern under main influencing factors. From the test value, theoretical calculation value and simulation value one can conclude that various deformation and failure pattern is caused by the difference in interface friction resistance. It can provide reference for the actual application of rock anchor foundation in civil engineering.
