The Research On Landscape Character Planning In Minnan Small Towns

The rapid construction of urbanization led to a large number of Chinese urban ecological damage, eliminate personality, urban character constantly homogenized. With the convening of the Central Work Conference of urbanization, the objectives of new urbanization construction were proposed and the planning gained increasing attention from people that it is based on the characteristics and personality of the town to create a landscape character. In the southern region of Fujian (Minan region for short), under the effect of the mix of terrain and the customs of the role of multi-source eclectic culture and ancient circulated culture, it formed a unique, rustic charm of the landscape characteristics which is an important source of inspiration for the construction of urban style of personality. The study of Minnan style town landscape was currently mostly limited to research or to protect the natural landscape and cultural landscape heritage, but few on the overall style of the town. Therefore, this study adds urgency to the research on landscape character in Minnan small towns.This article relies on the subject of the Education Department of science and technology projects "The Construction and Management Research of Fujian Traditional Village Landscape database in the new urbanization context" and social science planning project in Fujian Province, "The Study of landscape protection and utilization of traditional villages in Fujian based on Ecological Niche Theory". This article takes Minnan town landscape character planning as research project, selecting 23 typical towns in the Minnan region as the research object and using systems analysis, literature research, empirical research method and other research methods, combined with results of previous studies carried Minnan town landscape Character analysis according to the analysis results, the four kinds of Minnan town landscape character planning type, and Duxun town landscape character planning in Zhangzhou city as an example of one type of empirical research. The conclusions are as follows:1. Minnan town landscape has the regional specialties in the natural landscape character, cultural landscape character. Minnan town landscape has rich natural space, unique traditional architectural style and a blend of traditional customs and culture, but there are problems existing as well such as insufficient protection of natural landscapes, inadequate protection of traditional building blocks customs and difficulties of cultural heritage, etc.2. Minnan town landscape character planning should follow the principle of people-oriented, eco first, cultural heritage, the continuation context, uniform layout and reasonable positioning. The general idea of town planning should be the integration of the landscape space, coordination of town pattern, the protection of cultural diversity, continuity town context, based on local features, creation of town images. The basic content and procedures should be based on the landscape character strategy, the overall style of landscape character planning, landscape character planning and landscape elements, landscape character special plan, etc.3. This article proposes four kinds of plan types according to Minnan style town landscape characteristics and the status:natural-resource-type landscape character planning relying to historical, cultural heritage of the characteristics of the type of landscape character planning, and group town landscape character planning type based on the comprehensive planning style types to integration of regional resources.4. Duxun town, a town of Zhangzhou City, is the typical Minnan town. The natural landscape character and cultural landscape rich in Minnan style features, but artificial landscape characters disorder. Duxun town is more pluralistic in landscape character, applying to the type of integrated landscape character planning. Duxun town landscape character planning has four aspects, including Situation Research and Analysis of landscape, the overall style of landscape character planning, planning of landscape character elements and special planning of landscape character. The overall image of the town of Duxun Location:"An ancient commercial town of Minnan, A pastoral town with landscape environment," color planning topics defined as:"A Red town."This article will do categorical planning study of Minnan town landscape character planning. It will help Minnan towns to select a specific type of planning landscape character to practice following its own characteristics and create the research perspective. The research not only enriches the theory of Minnan town landscape character planning, but also provides a theoretical basis and methods of the town landscape character planning study for other parts of China.
