With the development of high precision machining and related industries, the demand of high precision plane positioning device is more and more high. The traditional plane positioning device, using the Rotary Motor combined with ball screws makes the rotary motion into a linear motion, and then makes the linear motion into a planar motion. Complex intermediate conversion devices increase the system error, makes the machine can’t meet the high accuracy of processing technology needs. The planar electric machine is a kind of device that can move the electric energy into mechanical energy, and realize the implementation of the planar motion without intermediate device. Planar motor research is mainly concentrated in the United States, Japan and South Korea. Mainly consists of three types of Planar Motor, Permanent Magnet Planar Motor, Switched Reluctance Motor Planar (SRPM).In this paper, the SRPM is used as the research object. According to the structure characteristics of SRPM and the Switched Reluctance Linear Motor, the structure parameters and electrical parameters of the motor are designed. The article uses Solid Works to design the assembly model of SRPM and uses the Ansoft Maxwell 3D finite element analysis software to analyze the static magnetic field and the transient magnetic field of the motor. Than the electromagnetic force curve and the inductance curve data are obtained. Based on the finite element analysis, numerical analysis method is used to describe the inductance curve of the motor, and the mathematical model of the motor is established.Aiming at the shortage of motor single-phase excitation scheme, the article uses multiphase excitation method, and uses the proportional interpolation method to solve the current given value, and combined with the current hysteresis loop control design of the current controller, as the SRPM control system of the inner loop. At the same time by using the improved PD control method to design a motor position controller, and the parameters of the fuzzy control strategy for dynamic adjustment of PD controller. Finally, the article uses Matlab/Simulink to build the simulation model of SRPM multi-phase excitation strategy to detect the tracking effect of the motor signal and the sine signal. The accurate tracking of the rectangular and circular trajectories in the plane is completed.
