The oxygen monitor is responsible for monitoring the safety of the pilot’s breathing, and its performance directly affects the safety of the flight. Because oxygen monitor has multiple test items and high accuracy requirements, the traditional manual test method is difficult to simulate the real flight environment and unable to fully meet its performance requirements, also with the gradual upgrading of equipment, testing costs are getting higher and higher. With the development of computers, electronic equipment and automatic control technology, which provides the theory basis and feasibility of the implementation for military equipment automatic test system.Based on the oxygen monitor as the research object, this thesis aims to design an oxygen monitor automation testing system, which can significantly improve test efficiency and meet the accuracy of the test. After analyzing the structure and testing tasks of the oxygen monitor, the complete test procedure for each test item and design scheme of test system are put forward. The test system based on industrial computer and data acquisition card to process and acquisition information, and negative pressure chamber to simulate altitude, which can comprehensively test oxygen monitor under the control of testing software.In consideration of accuracy, cost, automation and security of test system, the hardware system not only uses the high-precision sensors, programmable power supplies, explosion-proof valves and other hardware devices, also uses the self-designed high precision pressure tank and motor test system.The whole hardware system can run stably with little human intervention, which avoids the error caused by artificial test. Testing software based on C# development language, Visual Studio 2013 as the development platform, using object-oriented ideas to complete the entire software development. In the process of software design, program flow are analyzed for each test item, functional modules are divided according to the requirements of the test, and the interface design of hardware and software are introduced in detail. Finally, in consideration of the software’s ease of use and friendliness, we designed the user interface with simple operation and full function, which can be used to analyze and save the test results quickly.After completion of the system design and development, a large number of experimental tests show that the system runs stably, and testing precision and accuracy have been greatly improved compared with the traditional manual testing. Currently, the system has been put into actual production test process, using this system not only improves the work efficiency, but also reduces the test cost, which has very important application value.
