It is one of the most effective ways to enhance transport capacity by improving the railway wagon axle load in the process of railway freight transportation. Currently, the axle load of the railway wagon has reached or exceeded 30t in some powerful countries which has carried out heavy haul. The application assessment of 27t axle load railway wagon has been carried out in China and this wagon will become the main force of Chinese railway wagons. However, the formula of vertical inertial force was got on the basis of the running test by 60t class railway wagon (21t axle load). It is unknown whether the formula can be applied in the 27t axle load railway wagons, with improving of the railway wagon performance and axle load under the rapid-developing railway science and manufacturing technique. The work establishes 27t axle load railway wagon dynamics simulation model based on SIMPACK software under conditions of the 27t axle load railway wagons by running test model in order to study the vertical inertial force value and its computational formula.The main content of the work is the vertical inertial force under conditions of the 27t axle load railway wagons and the details are as follows:(1)The work resolves the reason of the vertical inertial force generating by the vehicle vibration system and analyzes the impact of line condition, wagon speed, location about gravity of goods on the wagon, wagon dynamic performance.(2)The work chooses the NXso common flat wagon as the example and establishes 27t axle load railway wagon dynamics simulation model based on SIMPACK software.(3)The test of NXso dynamic performance under the condition of empty wagon and loaded wagon is simulated by the SIMPACK software. And the dynamic performance reliability of NXso dynamics simulation model is verified by the analysis between the simulation results and real vehicle test results.(4)The railway line condition is designed by actual line, consisted of curve radius and curve superelevation, choosing the American fifth and third track spectrum as the level I and the level III in China respectively. The speed condition is determined by the NX80 designing speed and curve speed limit. The loading condition is designed by the average static load in recent 5 years. The running test model is consisted of the above conditions with 136 groups of running test contidions.(5)The main factors of the vertical inertial force under conditions of the 27t axle load railway wagons is determined by the simulation results. And the formula of vertical inertial force is also determined on the base of the results.The conclusion that the formula of vertical inertial force in current Regulation on Loanding and Securing of Railway Goods is also applied to the 27t axle load railway wagon with the comparision between two formulas.
