Dynamic walking aid is a kind of walking devices that is able to help the human body to stand and walk. It is worn outside the body to support and protect the human body. It can help people to run faster, jump higher, and carry more weight. The main function of dynamic walking aid is to assist human to walk, so its size is designed with the reference data through the measurement of the lower limbs of human body. At present, the length of legs of dynamic walking aids are adjustable, it avoids the use of a single defect. With the development of science and technology, lower limb dynamic walking aid has developed from the original military field to broader markets. The accelerated aging of the population and all kinds of accidents lead to the recession of walking function of more and more people. In order to make the above group who’s walking function is recessionary do self-care like normal people, developing a dynamic walking aid which has a strong functional adaptability becomes a key factor.Throughout the structure design of existing dynamic walking aids, the design of the foot support agencies is mostly limited to a flat plate with some rubber to prevent vibration, the rigid structure is easy to make people feel uncomfortable and fatigue when users wear it, and there are no energy storage and energy saving structures in the mechanism, the user needs to overcome greater resistance to complete a basic action, this design doesn’t have a standing on the people-oriented principle, so it cannot reach the function of good adaptability. In order to make the foot supporting mechanism of the existing lower limb dynamic walking aid achieve the effect of damping and energy storage, this research was based on bionics, optimized the structure of the foot mechanism of the existing dynamic walking aid through the analysis of bones, muscles, joints, kinematics and dynamics on normal human foot, and discussed the role of the relevant structural, calculated and checked the related parts, finally used the three-dimensional modeling software Solidworks to build the 3-d model of the organization of the foot support mechanism. Finally this paper analysed the design in ADAMS which is a virtual prototype software. Simulation results showed that this design can be closer to normal human gait during walking with it, and it can reach the effect of reducing impact and storing energy, verified the rationality of the design.
