With the rapid development of the national economy, some high power, large carrying capacity of multi axle vehicles have been widely used. Because of the road conditions,traffic regulations, relying on increasing the carrying capacity of a single shaft solely,reducing the vehicle quality does not meet the requirements.Only by increasing the number of axles to meet the requirements of the national standard.Therefore, more attention is paid to the safety performance of multi axle vehicle, and the braking performance of the vehicle is a very important indicator of vehicle safety performance.At present, for multi-axle vehicle braking performance test and evaluation method is commonly used desktop method and road testing method.Meanwhile, multi-axle vehicle brake performance tests are carried out in a no-load condition. However, multi-axle vehicles in the running to host the many goods, the load of quality than the quality of their idle time,and it is obvious that the brake force of the ground should be far greater than that of its load.There is no way to realize the multi axle load condition of the existing test method, which can not only carry on the test. Brake performance testing, which led to the detection results of multi axle brake performance is not true and inaccurate, can not fully reflect and reflect the vehicle’s braking performance in the actual situation, which is not very good to ensure the safety of multi axle vehicles on the road.In order to solve the above problems, in this paper, the dynamic model of multi axle vehicle braking performance detection is improved, put forward a lifting axle detection methods of multi axle vehicle loading braking performance test methods, analysis and comparison of a variety of lifting scheme, the choices are more convenient and reasonable hydraulic lifting method of multi axle vehicle loading and braking performance testing.This paper studies the test device of the axle load and heavy duty truck braking performance test device can effectively test the brake performance of multi axle vehicle under the loading condition. It can provide a small area, and has a high utilization rate. It is more effective and reasonable to carry out the data detection, which can guarantee the test data more effective and reasonable.The study by Solid Works for 3D modeling of mechanical part and hydraulic part of testing device, and use simulation finite element analysis of main stress components of the simulation of dynamic and static strength analysis and test results report issued, on thestrength of the weak design and optimization, finally obtain reasonable structure and strength to meet the requirements of the test bench; on the basis of the above design and analysis of installation test bench to test rig debugging and calibration, issue test report and analysis.
