In recent years, with the rapid development of computer technology and information technology, urban intelligent transportation system has been more widely used, urban intelligent transportation system mainly uses more advanced computer technology and communication technology to achieve real-time monitoring and guide of urban transportation,thereby reducing traffic congestion on the road and traffic accidents and improving the efficiency of urban transport. There are very much part of the urban intelligent transportation system, one important part is the choosing of the optimal path.Vehicle navigation path has played a very important role in the Urban Intelligent Transportation System, the navigation system through the road information for drivers to master a best route, thereby improving the driving efficiency. Research on car navigation systems is very much at home and abroad, But now the research of vehicle navigation are static, determines the road information according to the information captured by the road and specifies an optimal driving route for the driver on the basis of this information. The study did not fully take into account a combination of factors, leading to the treatment was not updated in real time road information, the optimal route can not reflect the real road conditions. The estimation of travel time is one of the key technologies for the route guidance system. With the rapid development of the city, the city’s transportation network has become more and more complex, the estimation of link travel time should satisfy the real-time requirement.This paper analyzes the composition of link travel time, according to the current state of urban traffic, analyzing the various factors affecting the travel time and the travel time is divided into sections of the free travel time delay time in intersections. According to the specific conditions of different road and the vehicle driving state to estimate link travel time,in this process, this paper mainly uses the settings in the sections of the vehicle automatic detection device to collect real-time traffic information,combines real-time information and function and calculates the the total travel time. The paper compares several commonly used algorithms, and finally selects the genetic algorithm to calculate the optimal route in the numerical model. By calculating the travel time, constructing the dynamic algorithm and establishing road network model to dynamic path planning for transportation and the paperalso researches on the objective function、algorithm and simulation about the models.
