Vital signs are important evidences for health condition. In order to make people understand their own physical condition, the monitoring of vital sign become more and more vital. The market has appeared some electronic medical equipment, among them, many measuring equipments are just for specific vital signs and the function is relatively single. At the same time, multi-parameter equipments are mainly used in clinical purposes, less for family. With the development of science and technology especially medical electronic industry, the human monitoring terminal equipments have been greatly accelerated. So that requirement for the intelligence of the equipment and the multi function is getting increasingly high. Therefore, the research of monitoring terminal equipment has practical significance and market prospects.A portable human body monitoring terminal is designed in this paper. Terminal is used to vital signs and safety monitoring. The function of terminal include: test four vital signs of body temperature、pulse rate、blood prussure、blood sugar, transmit vital signs parameters through Bluetoot, Dial-up Internet, A key achieve double alarm through Emails and text messages, provide GPS positioning information, update user information. The main research contents are as follows:(1) The hardware platform of monitoring terminal is based on i.MX283 processor. Design the minimum hardware system circuit and peripheral circuits. Peripheral circuit mainly include: the vital signs collection and processing circuit, bluetooth module circuit, LTE module circuit, GPS module circuit.(2) The software development plarform is established on the Linux kernel.On the basis of the platform for the development of applications. Application developments mainly include: set the bluetooth module parameters, vital signs which have been got are writen to the serial port for bluetooth passthrough, The LTE module realize dial-up, extract GPS positioning information, realize remote transmission of the location information through network, set up SMTP and POP3 server, build SMS PDU string and complete sending. At last, the implementation of the function module is tested.The terminal is combination of wearable devices and clinical monitoring equipments, which include several functions, such as detecting vital signs, alarm, updating user information. It is convenient to carry, suitable for families、individuals and pension institutions. The terminal not only conform the development trend of monitoring terminal but also has high value in research and development prospects.
