With the rapid economic growth and development of urbanization development in China, the elevator industry is developing rapidly. Now China has the largest number of elevators with the largest annual output and annual growth all over the world. In the past decade, China Mainland has kept average annual growth of around 20% for elevators. The quantity of elevators under operation registered by all local quality supervision departments is increased from 346067 units in 2002 to be 3607288 units in 2014. With the continuous improvement of people’s living standard, people are requiring for higher standard living environment and then elevators are becoming indispensable traffic tools. The technologies like machine room less, small machine room, group control, integrated control system and remote monitoring system will be the main research directions in the elevator field in the near future. Based on further study of relevant theories and understanding of the existing deficiencies of present elevator products, this paper designs a kind of Multiple-interface Elevator Handheld Operator on account of KYM series elevators, aiming at simple debugging, convenient maintaining and strong compatibility.Due to the great shortage of professionals engaged in the elevator industry, debugging and maintenance cost of the elevator are getting more and more attention of the users and the elevator manufacturers. Multiple-interface elevator handheld operator is a special tool for elevator commissioning and maintenance, consisting of two parts: liquid crystal display(LCD) and keys. Through communicating with the elevator main controller, it can monitor elevator operation status and set elevator parameters to facilitate the elevator commissioning and maintenance.This paper focused on study and design of Multiple-interface elevator handheld operator based on RS485, CAN and the Bluetooth communication. The paper analyzed the status and trend of elevator debugging and maintaining, provided and designed the overall architecture of multiple-interface elevator hand-held operator, and confirmed the microprocessor chip identified in accordance with the design after studying and comparing different microprocessor chips. This paper designed the corresponding hardware platform and realized the software design of the whole system by C language programming on the MDK development environment. Its composition is mainly divided into five modules: Microprocessor module, using the microprocessor STM32F103C8T6 with ARM CORTEX_M3 as the kernel from SGS-THOMSON Microelectronics, being integrated with CAN controller and Ethernet controller; CAN communication module, using CAN high-speed transceiver TJA1050 at a high speed; RS485 communication module; low power consumption Bluetooth module, adopting TI CC2540 as core processor; Power supply module with LM2575 circuit with switch integrated and regulated power supply chip and AMS1117-3.3 circuit with linear regulated power supply chip.
