The early military automatic test systems are mainly developed for specific weapon types and series. Between different systems, they are not compatible and interoperable. Furthermore, the same type of automatic test systems is configured as unit testing, integration testing, maintenance support and other different standalone electronic devices, which are also incompatible. So there is an urgent need for a high performance testing platform to meet the growing complexity of testing needs.General intelligent parallel testing is the largest emerging technology considering the test time and costs, which also one main feature of the next generation of US ATS. Domestic research on general intelligent parallel testing is still be in the ascendant. Even though the existing ATS can meet the need of various types of UUT, but the test interface capacity and the test software operating modes limited the implementation of multiple UUT parallel test, and the test efficiency is not high.In this thesis, according to the test requirements, through the research work on the key technology and integrated technology. It achieves the goals of setting up the test and diagnostic universal platform validation and verification system, which can realize the test in the diagnosis of integration, multi-object parallel test, self-test diagnosis and maintenance, test information wireless transmission and other functions.The main contents include overall project research, the hardware design and development of self-test and self-diagnosis, the development of signal adapter, parallel test system software design and functional testing, verification and so on.The primary works in this thesis are presented as follows:(1) Considered the different test requirements, the versatility and efficiency, the system architecture is designed, and a multi-objective framework for a parallel test system is planed.(2) Proceeding with the testing demands and technical feasibility, parallel testing technology is discussed, including the composition and framework of the system. After reseaching the multithreading technology, hardware and software and the key instruments of the system are accomplished.(3) Based on the hardware which share the function of fault diagnosis, a multi-objective testing system is designed and the shared testing platform for multy object is achieved, by which the demand of multi-objective testing is accoplished.(4) Results of this thesis is verified by testing the unit, diagnosing faults and testing parallelly, which improving the quality of the testing system.The multi-objective parallel testing system based on fault diagnosis designed and implemented in this thesis has been put into use in an institute. The main innovation is a shared objective to achieve a multi-parallel test basis function with fault diagnosis on hardware resources, which improve test efficiency, saving the costs of testing. After each module and platform integration testing and debugging, signal adapter self-debugging and self-testing, and the applications for the equivalent of the test objectives testing, the system is proved to meet the system functionality, performance and key indicators. The system is stable and reliable since it is started to function.
