| Eight points support structure is a typical important connection structure of transportable cryogenic pressure vessel. To ensure the safety of the transportable pressure vessel is essential. At present, the design of the eight points support structure is basically in accordance with the engineering experience, which is lack of systematic research. Based on this situation, in this paper, the road tanker for cryogenic liquid developed by a company was regarded as the research object. The mechanical properties of glass fiber reinforced materials were obtained by experiments. By using finite element analysis method, the stress state of cryogenic liquid transportation tank four transport conditions was analyzed. The influence of geometric parameters on the structural strength of the eight points support structure was studied.The main research work and conclusions of this paper are as follows:(1) The mechanical properties of the support materials-epoxy glass fiber reinforced plastic were studied by experiments. The failure characteristics are analyzed, and the related basic data are provided for the safety analysis and optimization of the support structure.(2) Based on finite element numerical simulation method, The stress state of the transportable cryogenic liquid tank under four different working conditions was obtained. And the analysis of eight points support structure was mainly done. The results show that when the cryogenic vessel is acted by 2 times the acceleration of gravity in the longitudinal direction, the stress of the fixed end support reached the maximum.(3) Based on the dangerous situation, this paper focuses on the influence of geometric parameters of eight points support and inner vessel. The results show that the diameter and thickness of the plate has little effect on the stress of the inner vessel, while the supporting angle and support distance has certain effect, and reasonable suggestions are presented.(4) The connection form of eight point support structure and outer container is analyzed. Based on the dangerous working conditions, the influence of the geometric parameters of the supporting sleeve structure on the external vessel is studied, which provides the relevant data reference for the design and manufacture of the eight points support structure. |
