The Research On Soft Decorative Design And Development In The Space Of Modern Hotel

With the influence of the progress of the comprehensive national power for our country in recent years, as well as the rapid development of national economy, and the general ascending of human quality, the development of lodging industry in our country has gained reasonable optimization, and has presented the trend of diversification. Meanwhile, the constant improvement of the consumer aesthetic consciousness, people have increasing demand for hotels in all aspects, especially the living environment within the hotel. The traditional pattern of hotel space is not enough to attract more customers. The presence of these phenomena makes the hotel industry competition even more serious. Thus, the hotel industry must begin to change traditional thinking towards hotel space designing, no longer simply pursuit the flashy decoration of the outlook, instead, they should consider to add with culture and artistry by using some soft decorative design which is filled more with sentimental value. What’s more, the design should explore and give the hotel space something like the spiritual content, which can reflect the profound cultural background of the hotel. So far, the soft decorative design has become increasingly important in the position of the hotel space.As there are many types of hotels at present, the soft decorative design can’t always be the same case for the different functional and geographical factors. This paper, combined with different types of hotels, analyze the features of different soft decorative design in multiple perspectives. It shows the importance of using soft decorative design for atmosphere foil for the hotel by using some design examples. The most important section in the paper, starting from the origin of soft decorative design, as well as the problems exist now, analyze the modern design overview of the soft decorative design, both theoretically and practically.Choosing four kinds of representative hotel space, analyzing some aspects such as the hotel customers positioning, requirements for soft adornment color, styles and so on, concluding the collocation styles of different hotels, designers do the collocation designing for the cases of soft decorative design which regards the hotel rooms as the core.At the end of the paper, combining with the current trend of social development, as well as the situation for hotel design industry in recent years, I forecast on how to better service in the hotel room from the five aspects, material sustainability, brand positioning, combined with the new Internet technology, namely functional characteristics,,and culture promoting. I hope to expand the development of soft decorative design, better to meet the needs of the social environment.
