At present, the urban road traffic congestion is more and more serious in each big city, which seriously affects our travel, but also caused huge economic cost, waste of social cost and environment cost. In order to solve the problem of traffic congestion, people have taken a series of measures:to increase road network construction, vigorously develop subway, light rail, construction of ring road outside the city, highways, etc., to a certain extent, ease the traffic congestion, but not long-term effective solution to solve the problem of traffic congestion. Domestic and foreign scholars research suggest that reasonable traffic signal control strategy can relieve urban traffic congestion, therefore, this article from the traffic signal control aspects, to optimize the urban road network, the study are summarized below.First, sub-region dynamic partitioning based on the road network accessibility theory. The entire road network is divided into some sub regions, who contents some similar intersections. The road network is abstracted as bidirectional weighted directed graph, according to decomposition theory based on accessibility of network structure in graph theory, to divide the road network into sub area dynamically, then use the share variance of sub-regional sections to adjust preliminary results of the sub-zoning, to ensure internal sub-region similarity road conditions.Second, steady-state signal control method for urban traffic networks. First, establish a network model based on the relationship between the upstream and downstream links; Secondly, consistent with the state road network control target given the steady-state control law; again, in order to solve the existing stationary phase sequence phase sequence may constraints algorithm validity, given the steps and conditions of dynamic phase combinations and sequences.Third, boundary coordination method is proposed. Also consistent with state road network as the goal, use the part variable stability theory to analysis the boundary feedback control of the network, and gives a detailed calculation of the feedback gain matrix K. Eventually gives centralized boundary feedback signal control and distributed steady state signal control process.The proposed algorithm is verified by the Yizhuang area network respectively with MATLAB, VB and traffic simulation software Paramics and VISSIM, and verify the comparison between calculation results and simulation are given, simulation results verify the effectiveness and accuracy of this method.
