With the continuous development of power electronic devices, the requirement of power quality is becoming higher and higher. How to improve the power factor and reduce the harmonic pollution of power electronic devices has become an urgent problem to solve. This thesis focuses on the study of two novel types of VIENNA rectifier. The VIENNA type-Ⅰ rectifier has the advantage of three-level feature, less switches, low switch stress, no bridge arm straight through and no dead-zone time, etc. The VIENNA type-Ⅱ rectifier has the advantage of single-stage structure, less passive components, small volume, low cost, etc.Firstly, the working principles of VIENNA type-Ⅰ and type-Ⅱ rectifier have been introduced in this thesis. The mathematical model of three-phase static coordinate system has been established. The VIENNA type-Ⅱ rectifier was analyzed by simulation software based on space vector control method and the ramp comparison control method respectively.Secondly, the basic principle of one cycle control (OCC) and the working process of the VIENNA type-Ⅰ rectifier based on OCC were introduced in this thesis. And the different modulation methods of OCC were analyzed. One cycle control can realize the capacitance midpoint voltage automatic balancing which is verified by theoretical analysis, and the OCC which belongs to the peak current control has not harmonic oscillation if the inductance value was chosen reasonably. The OCC three-phase VIENNA type-Ⅰ rectifier was analyzed based on the MATLAB/Simulink simulation platform. Then, the modular design of VIENNA type-Ⅰ rectifier was introduced in this thesis. The main components of main circuit were selected and designed. The hardware schematic of main circuit and driving circuit was analyzed. The OCC chip IR1155S was introduced and its existing problems were put forward and a suitable OCC circuit was designed for VIENNA type-Ⅰ rectifier. The feasibility of OCC circuit and current sample circuit was verified by Pspice simulation software. The voltage loop circuit parameters were designed and the hardware circuit was analyzed. Finally, the experiment platforms of single-phase and three-phase four-wire VIENNA type-Ⅰ rectifier were established, respectively. The prototype experiment was debugged and the waveforms were analyzed by power analyzer. The experimental results show that the design of control circuit and parameter selection is feasible and effective.
