As a basic analysis tool, sensitivity calculation has already been widely applied to the field of power system planning, stability analysis and control and so on. For complicated electric network, it’s practically significant to search for a simple but efficient way to calculate sensitivity. In this thesis, a general calculation method and its application for linear sensitivity of asymmetric electric network is researched, based on generalized Tellegen’s theorem. The main work is as follows:This thesis compares and analyzes sensitivity calculations between generalized and traditional Tellegen’s theorem.Although traditional Tellegen’s theorem is widely used for sensitivity calculation of electric network, it is not simple and the amount of calculation become large for complicated system, especially not flexible when there exist changes with structure of electric network.Based on method of calculating sensitivity with generalized Tellegen’s theorem, a general method to calculate sensitivity of asymmetric network is present, through combined with the mathematical model of ? ?)()(XBXXAX ?, In this new method, the asymmetric quantity is introduced to general mathematical model, therefore a general calculation formula for sensitivity of asymmetric network is derived. Then this method is applied to electric network including controlled source and a calculation method based on generalized Tellegen’s theorem for this kind of problem is also present. Compared to micro incremental method, the theoretical method is well consistent with experimental results.Based on above work, the general method to calculate sensitivity of asymmetric network is continuously applied to electric network with FACTS device. Generally, FACTS device is used to electric network to realize kinds of function control. However, the system model is usually asymmetric during analysis of electric network. Consequently, the extended nodal voltage equations of electric derivative network is established and given power network non symmetry formula for calculating the sensitivity. For example, in IEEE-14 and IEEE-30 electric network accessed by control devices of SVC, TCSC and SSSC and so on, respectively, the results of calculating sensitivity with the Matlab 7.0 show that the method here in this article is generality and simplicity.
