Wheel and axle is one of the key components to insure the operation safety of high speed train. With the speed of the high speed train improved, the fatigue of wheel and axle is proposed more strict requirements; There should be higher rquirement to the rate of wheel load reduction and derailment coefficient while running. Therefore, the load spectrum of wheel-axle obtained is particularly important, in order to obtain higher accuracy of load spectrum, high accuracy of instrumented wheelset development and the instrumented wheelset calibration data processing act basic role. The wheel-set of permanent magnet motor EMU as the research object, the following aspects were studied:Firstly, as the structure of the instrumented wheel-set is changed, according to the UIC510-5 standard, mesh the processed wheel and calculate by the way of finite element,evaluating the static strength and fatigue strength of the instrumented wheel-set by ANSYS simulation.Secondly, through the calculation of finite element simulation of the wheel to get corresponding load stress curves, determining the point of load indentification in instrumented wheel-set by the principle of "self interference is big, mutual interference is small". How to eliminate the interference caused by bridge circuit of strain by reasonable bridge; Analysis the strain gage bridge output characteristics using fourier transform.Thirdly, th conditions of train operation under real railway including straight,bend and switch. Analysis the wheel rail contact point state under these conditions, design reasonable calibration method and the use of existing calibration test bench to measuring wheel-set static calibration test.Fourthly, analyzing the law of the data obtained from the calibration test, and the load stress transfer coefficient of each direction is obtained according to the law. And discussing the application of the load stress transfer coefficient.
