Crew Management Research Based On CRM

The development of the shipping business constantly improves the vessels’ technological level. And it makes sure vessels’service safety powerfully. The safety of the vessels is inseparable from the construction of the crew team. The quantity, skill and the quality of the crew are increasingly higher. The requirements for crew management become higher. Therefore, it is very important to build a crew-centered crew management system witch pursue the improvement of crew value and valuation. This thesis makes the discussion on this background. The author analyses the drawbacks of the crew management and management systems of this stage in-depth. And he also analyses of the importance of the introduction of customer relationship management (CRM) system in crew management system in detail.Firstly, based on the CRM concept, this thesis, by adopting the computer management information system, systematically analyzes the whole procedure of crew management and constructs a brand new matrix of the crew management system------the crew management system on CRM basis.Then, the thesis deals with the analysis of the content and method of existing customer responses, and establishes a set of crew evaluation system through consultancy with managerial staff of different shipping enterprises, brokerage companies, individual crew members and experts in order to make a comprehensive evaluation on crew. Then the thesis elaborates on the evaluation system and figures out the relation and the weight of the indicators by AHP method. After that, the thesis demonstrates the validity of the system by exemplification and proposes applying GE method to sort management.Finally, combined with ASP.NET deployment system architecture, planning a total crew management system based on hierarchical graph CRM form a network topology map. We can implement CRM easily according to this.
