Landscape Design Of Urban River Bank Based On User-friendly Principle

Water is one of the basic elements for mankind existence and city development and it plays an important role in the formation and development of the city as well as the resident’s leisure life. Many cities were built beside water in history, having experienced considerable development depending on such advantage. It is thus clear that the waterfront space brought development power to city, meanwhile featuring the image of the city through long-term subtle influence. With the rapid development of industrialization and urbanization in recent years, the continuously strengthened environmental awareness of residents and improved requirements for quality of life of residents, urban riverfront landscape receives more and more attention. But for most of the current riverside landscapes, users’ experience is always ignored from the beginning for its lack of unique planning ideas and sameness of plannings. And this phenomenon is being more and more serious.Taking humanization as platform, this article puts forward humanized design principle and method for urban riverside landscape by analyzing the application status and problems of humanization on the riverside landscape design through real cases and by combining with the cognitive elements of riverside space and environmental requirements and behavior by riverside landscape. Also, by investigating and analyzing users of Luanhe River riverside area in Qian’an and humanness of current landscape through questionnaire survey, it sets Luanhe River riverside landscape design in Qianan as an example, paying full respect to the requirements in the riverside landscape by users, refining the spiritual attainments and finally connects humanization and riverside landscape design together with design techniques.
