The Electronic Stability Program (ESP) is an advanced automobile active safety system which is researched with the automobile electronic technology development’ ESP control algorithm is the core of ESP system, its response speed, the degree of convergence, and control methods good or bad, has a direct impact on the vehicle’s stability and security.On the analysis of the working principle of the ESP system, this paper establish the ideal two degrees of freedom vehicle model and eight degrees of freedom vehicle model,and the fuzzy theory is applied to the ESP control system. On the basis of good flexibility and robustness, introduce to the ant colony algorithm with automatic search of optimality feature, designing fuzzy PID control system structure with ant colony algorithm, designing the control system calculation method,and according to it write S function of computational unit parameter,thus parameters kp、kf、kd are optimized. On the basis of the above works, building vehicle model without ESP control system, vehicle model with the fuzzy PID controller, and vehicle model introduce to the ant colony algorithm with the fuzzy PID controller.In different road conditions, using MATLAB/SIMULINK software on the simulation analysis of three vehicle models.The conclusion shows fuzzy PID controller with ant colony algorithm that accelerate the response speed of the system, improve the stability of the vehicle.So as to improve vehicle dynamics stability provides a feasible control method.
