Light steel portal frame has become the main form of modern lightweight building structure. Because this structure can be utilized material effectively and its component is in small size, light weight, can be mass-produced in factories, thus the quality can be guaranteed. Furthermore, the installation and connection is convenient to complete on site. This structure also has a short construction period and can be recycled. It is widely used in industrial plants and public buildings in relating to advantages and economic benefits. In engineering application of the portal frame light steel structure, there are some special requirements, which make the project design become more complex, for example, open operating space is demanded owing to the arrangement in industrial plants or delivery requirements, Thus a portion of the column should be removed, this is a extraction-column portal frame. Clear provisions about Design Method on extraction-column portal frame has not be provided in specification. Therefore, the study for design method on extraction-column portal frame in this thesis has important significance.This article describes development status and characteristics of the portal frame light steel housing structure at home and abroad and summarizes the basic design theory and specification of portal frame. On the basis of theoretical research, the thesis researches design steps and methods of plants with lightweight steel portal frame. Compared with engineering examples and considered the project overview, a reasonable design be determined. Through establishing structural model, each parameter setting in the structure and internal force are analyzed. For extraction pillar portal frame, its engineering difficulty is that the leg stiffness changes at extraction positions affect the overall structure. In the extraction column portal frame designing process and pillar extracted is replaced by joists to support portal frame which simplifies the elastic support when a plane model is used to model and calculate in the design process. What’s more, in the process of model building, the elastic seat restraint stiffness values should be paid attention to and vertical and horizontal braces between columns support are utilized to enhance the overall stiffness.Finally, this thesis concludes the engineering and points out the problems that need to be further studied in the future. |
