The Bridge Building Image Basic Research Under The Definition Of Architecture

There is tremendous achievement in our country bridge building since 21 st century. The quantity and quality of bridges are among the highest in the world. However, the planning and bridge design lack of uniform principles without a clear goal and methods. People often pay attention to the bridge itself and functional design, while ignore the characteristics of the bridge environment which resulting in a lot of ugly, pseudo-bridge type and having little aesthetic value and social value.Firstly, explained the meaning of the image of the bridge construction from two aspects: the bridge and bridge environment. Then beginning with the definition of architectural aesthetics, analyzing its historical development, pointing out that the bridge design need to focus on the aesthetic characteristics of architectural modeling, and summarizes the basic rules of bridge building design formal beauty. The design of the bridge image depends on three aspects: natural environment, humanistic environment and social environment. The results show that the bridge with the surrounding environment is inseparable and should be designed as a whole.Then according to the image of bridge building design features, expanded 5W2 H questioning method to 6W4 H method for guiding the bridge design in order to achieve all-round consideration throughout the design process, and make a concrete analysis according to the Hengsheng bridge design. At the same time, the bridge evaluation method should return its essence and allow users to participate in the evaluation process to make the whole process of forming a loop. The demand comes from the public, so the final evaluation should also return to the public, to be truly "people-oriented ". The image of the Hengsheng bridge was judged though multi-level fuzzy comprehensive evaluation method, and gives some suggestions.Finally, I choose Suzhou that is the most characteristic one Chinese city and known as the "Venice of the East" to further summarize the characteristics of the image of the bridge construction through some concrete bridges.
