With the growing of human society civilization and economic civilization, the demand for energy is increasing. While the progress of science and technology has brought about great convenience of life, it has also raised the growing energy crisis and environmental protection issues. How to get Sustainable development of human civilization has become a major development issues in the world today. In order to solve the problem of urban energy consumption, electric vehicles and hybrid vehicles are increasingly becoming an important part of urban traffic. With the popularity of electric cars and electric cars, the electric vehicles for city‘s goods transportation have gradually entered the people’s vision.Supported by the project "Dongan Heibao pure electric vehicles development", based on the current pure electric vehicle powertrain control technology and the prophase research done by the author‘s team, this paper presents a pure electric vehicle powertrain control strategy based on the interpretation on driver’s intent. A mechanical model is established to study the effect of the powertrain configuration on the vehicle performance, and then a solution has been raised based on the study. On the basis of the above, the electric vehicle is modeled in CRUISE AVL. In this paper, the membership function and fuzzy rules are established to stand for the relationship of driver behavior and driving intention, and a joint simulation of AVL and CRUISE SIMULINK is established to verify the control strategy. In the end, the hardware of the control strategy is tested and the test and calibration of the system is completed.The research content of this paper provides the theoretical support and technical feasibility for the driver‘s intention interpretation based control strategy of electric vehicle, which is helpful to the practical application of electric vehicles.
