Shroud structures are widely used in fan blades, dry friction damping reducing blade vibration through the shroud between the working surfaces, on the other hand through the shroud face tight with connections to improve the stiffness of the blades, therefore, in the shroud face design, one must consider the damping effect of shroud, ensure working face of a vibration damping effect enough, on the other hand, we must consider the shroud surface due to the tight degree with the lead extrusion stress distribution and size, to ensure that shroud face will not appears very large extrusion stress concentration. From two considerations that the shroud face dry friction damping and shroud face extrusion stress distribution, the parameters studied shroud face damping effect on the shroud and face squeeze stress distribution law, this paper details the shroud surface damping design method and extrusion stress design method, finally, considering the actual work situation, summed up the work of optimization design method of shroud. The specific work is as follows:(1) For the fan shroud, use a dry rub with a non-linear response solver to study the influence of the initial shroud face tightness and shroud bevel face on dry friction damping effect, obtained initial shroud face tightness and face angle.(2) For the fan shroud, the establishment of a simplified face by the shroud computational model to calculate the working state assembly shroud tightness face of compressive stress and deformation distribution trends studied squeeze stress distribution principle, and further research the shroud face initial assembly state and shroud surface structure (face chamfered edge) effects on extrusion stress, compressive stress design method of the parameters of working face are shroud.(3) Consolidated shroud face parameters and compressive stress design method, based on the importance of the impact of the actual work situations and other considerations, get shroud face optimization design.
