| With the advancement of national highway construction process and the rapid increase of freeway mileage these years, the construction of mountain area freeway has been becoming a hotspot. Low actual traffic capacity and high frequent traffic accidents at curved and longitudinal slope section of mountain area freeway have become very serious problems. From the perspective of the construction and development of mountain area freeway, there are few system studies about the traffic flow and few highly studies about the establishing of traffic flow, optimization design, control and management, and concrete project application at curved and longitudinal slope section of mountain area freeway, for the normal studied of traffic flow at the field are based on the theory and methods of the common freeway combining some project examples.Based on cellular automatation theory, a simulation model at at curved and longitudinal slope section of mountain area freeway was established after the characteristics of traffic flow and the influencing factors at mountain area freeway had been analyzed. The optimization design values of speed limits at curved and longitudinal slope section of mountain area freeway were determined by simulation experiments. The correctness of the theory and methods were proved by the experiment results at Chengtang Freeway. The design contents of speed limit, which combine setting pavement physics facilities, roadside electric facilities, and other speed limit measures, were proposed. The decision support can be provided including traffic accidences decreasing, traffic safe guaranteeing, and road actual traffic volume enhancing at mountain area freeway. |
