Along with the development of science and technology and the continuous improvement of the quality of life, people for the beautiful of rail passenger car interior trim panels requirements are put forward. The processing of Interior trim can’t without engraving machine. At present, domestic woodworking carving craft is confined to the wooden door of a small surface mechanical engraving. The machinery market of Large-format interior trim panel’s carving processing is still in the black. In response to this market phenomenon and combined with the situation of rail passenger car interior trim panels production and processing enterprises.This paper designed a big wide CNC engraving machine.First,introduced the large-format CNC engraving machine’s working principle, structure and characteristics.At the same time, completed to determine the overall layout of the machine. Secondly, the overall mechanical structure large format CNC engraving machine has been designed.Important parts are designed and calculated to determine the type and size of the components. And using three-dimensional modeling software CATIA for virtual prototype modeling. Again, through the use of ANSYS software, the main components of the engraving machine were related to modal analysis. The deformation, modal and vibration mode of the main parts of machine are obtained. Finally summarizes the problems in the process of large format engraving machine design. Provide a reference for the design of future large format machinery.
